This is the national women’s organization of the Presbyterian Church (USA) that determines its own leadership, programs, and budget. With a history over 200 years old, Presbyterian Women is committed to nurturing faith, supporting the church’s mission, working for justice and building community.

Offerings
 
  • Love Offering – Supports Paw Creek Presbyterian Women and Presbytery Worldwide Missions.
Budgeted contribution is based upon the number of circle members each year. This is paid each Circle year.
 
  • Sunshine Offering – Circle offering that covers miscellaneous expenses for each circle (such as Home Circle member birthdays and Christmas).  If there is a balance remaining in this collection at the end of the year, each Circle must decide what to do with the balance and inform the Treasurer.
 
 

 

 

 
 
  • Thank Offering – National Presbyterian Women offering collected in October and November.
This offering is used for the Health Ministries Fund of PW, which includes numerous projects. (See your Fall Horizons magazine for a listing. All Presbyterian Women are encouraged to provide suggested projects for this offering to the PW Enabler.)
 
  • Birthday Offering – National Presbyterian Women Offering collected in May. This offering commemorates the beginning of Presbyterian Women and is used for three projects as determined by a special committee. All Presbyterian Women are encouraged to provide suggested projects for this offering to their PW Enabler.

Upcoming Events

 

 

We will conclude our current PW year on May 1st with all Circle members meeting with Rev. Elliot who will provide the concluding Bible Study. We will begin the evening at 6:00 PM with a potluck salad supper in the CFC. Please remember to signup for a salad, dessert, or tea at the April meeting. We will also have a brief installation service for our 2018-19 Officers and a recap of our PW year. Hope to see you there!

 

 
PW Bake Sale at Fish Fry

The Presbyterian Women will hold a bake sale at the Fish Fry on Saturday, May 5th.  Proceeds from the Bake Sale go to the PW Scholarship fund for the youth at our church.  Please have your baked goods to the CFC by about 3:00 PM so they can be priced (and sliced if necessary).  Please join us in this historical tradition and worthy cause with your homemade, baked goods!

2017–2018 PW/Horizons Bible Study

 In nine lessons, the author invites us to explore major themes found in Hebrews, relate these themes to other parts of our faith tradition, and tie them together with the overarching motif of community.

 

ALL Women WELCOME to join Presbyterian Women for circle. We meet monthly, 1st Tuesday of each month.  If you haven’t been able to attend a meeting or if you have missed a month, you will not be behind.
