The Reverend Gary L. Bryant

     The Reverend Gary L. Bryant was elected Senior
Pastorof Paw Creek Presbyterian Church in 1981. Gary
earned a Bachelor of Arts - Psychology degree from
King College in Bristol, Tennessee, and earned a
Master of Divinity degree from Columbia Theological
Seminary in Decatur, Georgia. He also has studied at
Oxford University in Oxford, England, and Union
Theological Seminary in Richmond, Virginia.

     Prior to his arrival at Paw Creek Presbyterian Church,
Gary served as Student-in-Ministry of Columbia
Presbyterian Church, Decatur, Georgia; Associate Pastor
of First Presbyterian Church, Lumberton, North Carolina;
and Pastor of First Presbyterian Church, Kings Mountain, North Carolina.

     Pastor Gary L. Bryant periodically conducts worship services at nursing homes and retirement centers in our
area. He also is available to provide pastoral counseling
to individuals, couples and families on a one-time or
ongoing basis. He is dedicated to listening in depth,
seeking understanding, and providing a secure
framework for personal and spiritual growth.

     Gary is married to Gail Bryant, a retired teacher
from Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. They have three
children -- Elizabeth, Mark, and Daeng.
