Mark Burleson has served as Chancel Musician
for Paw Creek Presbyterian Church since
September of 2002. He plays organ and piano for
our worship services and choir rehearsals. Mark
has been a church musician for over 25 years,
starting at the age of 13. Before coming to Paw
Creek, he served Pine Grove United Methodist
Church in Albemarle, Guilford College United
Methodist Church in Greensboro, and Christ
Episcopal Church in Charlotte, North Carolina.
While at Guilford College United Methodist
Church, Mark started Music for Missions, an
annual concert to benefit indigent citizens of the
Greater Greensboro area. In five years, the concert
raised over $20,000 and collected over 3,000 cans
of food for the homeless and less fortunate.
In addition to his work at Paw Creek, Mark
performs in the Piedmont area for churches,
nursing homes, weddings, and choral festivities.
