IT’S ONLY A DIME! Ten cents, a dime - it doesn’t sound like much. It’s what you may find under a couch cushion or even dropped on the ground. However, if the basic groceries you buy every week have gone up by ten cents an item or gas by ten cents a gallon, it adds up quickly. To Loaves and Fishes it’s a 20% increase in food costs of the basic food that has to be purchased to supplement the donated food. Continue to bring your non-perishable food donations weekly to refill the red barrel and also consider a donation to Loaves and Fishes at P.O. Box 11234, Charlotte, NC 28220 to assist with these rising costs. |
